How ApplyOrWait works
Page last checked .
Should you apply now, or wait? Start with your own card history and goal. The tools check the issuer rules we can evaluate without a credit pull, then help you plan your next application. Allow about 3 minutes.
1. Tell us what matters
Enter your goal, credit score range, what you comfortably spend each month and the cards you have. Account-opening dates and previous bonus history can change the timing answer. If a date is uncertain, confirm it before acting on a precise waiting date.
2. Check eligibility and timing
We compare your inputs with relevant issuer account, bonus and spacing restrictions. We label limits from issuer terms separately from patterns reported by applicants. Missing history can leave eligibility unknown; meeting the rules we check does not establish approval.
Check one card to review your account history, or see How we rank.
3. Act on the next step; treat the rest as a draft
Your plan shows which card to consider now, which to wait on, and the reason behind each wait. Focus on the next 30–90 days. Later months of the 24-month roadmap depend on future offers, approvals, spending and your circumstances.
You can save or share a plan link and export calendar reminders. Shared links include your inputs, so share them only with people you choose. Each calendar reminder includes the saved-plan link and your answers. Your calendar provider and people with calendar access can read them. When a reminder goes off, check the offer and your history again before applying.
Understand the estimates
Welcome-offer estimates assume approval and meeting every spending and eligibility requirement. Values depend on redemption choices, usable credits and fees. They do not predict your approval probability or promise rewards. Do not spend more than normal to meet an offer.
Check the current terms
Offer list checked 2026-10-06; issuer rules verified 2026-10-06. Individual offer dates and confirmation requirements differ. Terms apply. Issuer terms can change after a review, so confirm current rates, fees and offer eligibility on the issuer's specific product page.
